As-Built Survey
An As Built Survey is a detailed survey conducted after construction is complete to document the final location and elevation of structures, utilities, and other site features. It serves as a record of the newly built environment, showing any deviations from the original design or plans, typically including a red-line mark up of any changes from design & a clean “Asbuilt” copy of only the final locations.

For most projects in our beautiful and Wet Pacific Northwest Cities will require a stormwater asbuilt survey to verify the placement and configuration of storm drains, volumes of detention ponds & catch basins, infiltration trenches, French drains and other drainage features, ensuring compliance with design specifications. Similarly, these stormwater asbuilt surveys will include a lot coverage or impervious surface calculations. The Stormwater Asbuilt Survey helps confirm the total area of impervious surfaces (such as buildings, driveways, or parking lots, gravel & other hard surfaces that retard the entry of rainwater into the underlying soil).
For sewer and water systems, an as-built survey records the precise location and depth of installed pipes, manholes, valves, service lines, cleanouts and other components. This data is critical for maintenance, future inspections, and avoiding conflicts with future construction projects. All Land Surveying works intimately with your utility purveyor to ensure swift finalization & approval of your built facilities.
In any aspect asbuilt are essential for confirming that the constructed site meets design intent and regulatory standards, providing accurate documentation for property owners, developers, and local authorities and for future maintenance of all facilities.
